Top 5 Youth Basketball Plays
Half-Court Sets
It is most important to teach your players how and where to move on the court in a regular 5-out offense before giving them numerous plays to run. Teach them how to cut and get open and read and space the floor.
This is a play you can put in to get your players cutting in a 3-around-2 situation.
Zone Offense
This is a play that is very successful versus a 2-3 Zone at the youth level.
Baseline Out of Bounds
This box set can open up your shooters and also get your post players a lay-up if they set great screens.
Sideline Out of Bounds
This sideline out of bounds play is very popular in the NBA and is extremely successful at creating easy points.
