Georgia ran multiple plays out of this Flex set against Michigan State in the NCAA Tournament. This option is designed to bring a post player to the block off of a cross screen.
This is another option that Georgia ran out of their Flex set against Michigan State in the NCAA Tournament. Very early in the game, the Bulldogs caught MSU sleeping and hit 2 on the Flex screen for an easy score. Later they ran the play again and brought 2 off of a double down screen after MSU defended the Flex cut much better.
Georgia ran this action out of a Forwards Out set against the Spartans in the round of 64. There is a lot of good action here, but it is ultimately designed to set up a quick spread pick and roll that can de extremely difficult to guard with multiple shooters on the floor.
