NCAA Tournament – X’s & O’s – Michigan State

Here are 2 options from a set that Tom Izzo has been running for years. They used this set successfully several times against Georgia in their NCAA matchup.

Michigan State used this set twice in the first half against Georgia, and Travis Trice was able to knock down an open 3. This is just one out of any number of options that can be run out of a Forwards Out set.

Michigan State ran this side out of bounds play in their NCAA opener against Georgia. The Spartans used this action to get an open 3pt look for the 1, and the flare screen for the 2 is an excellent option, as well.
