The Lake Show hit an NBA Finals record 86 three’s in a 6-game series. LA combined this outside shooting with and an emphasis on getting inside touche by its superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, who routinely command a double team. This strategy allowed the Frank Vogel’s Lakers to constantly keep teams on their heels through the Playoffs and Finals.
Of course, we can’t only talk about the champs as there was plenty of other great XsOs from playoff teams like the other Los Angeles team the Clippers, the Utah Jazz, and Finals contender Miami Heat. Coaches Doc Rivers, Quin Snyder and Erik Spoelstra all are widely recognized as top XsOs coaches in the league, and it showed in how their teams performed during the NBA bubble in Orlando.
Be on the lookout for an exclusive NBA Playoffs FastDraw playbook coming soon, packed with more than 50 sets you won’t find in the PlayBank!
